Who is your cleaning lady?

From now on, I am the official cleaning lady of my house. I had a cleaning lady, who as a great lady, that helped me while I was pregnant and a few months after my second baby was born. Since I am trying not to spend during this hard economy, I had to let her go. So here I am cleaning my house.
When you have a toddler and a newborn, it is really tough to plan on clean your house. What I am trying to do is to be organized, and clean the house the days my older son is not at home. I try to clean the house biweekly. First I do the parts that other people can see, such as living room, kitchen, dining area and guest bathroom. It helps if you have a small house and if you are an organized person. Like, you house can be organize and not clean, and people will not see much the unclean if things are in place. The contrary is tough not to see. So when I am done with the “people will see” part, I do the kids’ bedroom. Last our bathroom and bedroom.
If you stop to think on how much you spend paying someone to clean your house, you go nuts. In my case, my cleaning lady would come twice a month. That was $100 dollars less in the end of the month. I am not saying it was not worthy. Honestly, it was sooooo worthy, but unfortunately I can’t afford anymore. But if you do the math, is like, $100 times 12 months = $1,200 out of your pocket every year. Or being more precise $50 times 27 weeks = $1,350. BBBBOOOOOMMMMM.
Now think of how could you spend that money if you have it. Or think better, what if you put that same value every year towards your children’s college funds. During 10 years, they would have $13,500!!!!!! Well it’s not too much, but it is a starter.
Now the next time I came up with the idea of having a cleaning lady again. I’ll think about that: paying the cleaning lady versus college funds for the kids?

A partir de agora, eu sou a faxineira official da minha casa. Eu tinha uma faxineira, que era uma exelente senhora, que me ajudou quando eu estava grávida e, alguns meses depois que o meu segundo bebê nasceu. Já que não estou querendo gastar durante essa economia brava, eu tive que deixar ela ir. Então aqui estou eu limpando a minha casa.
Quando você tem um bebê e um recém-nascido, é realmente difícil de planejar em limpar a casa. O que eu estou tentando fazer é ser organizada, e limpar a cada nos dias que meu filho mais velho não está em casa. Eu tento limpar a casa quinzenalmente. Primeiro eu faço as partes que outras pessoas podem ver,
tais como sala, cozinha, área de jantar e banheiro dos hóspedes. Uma coisa que ajuda é se você tiver uma casa pequena e se você for uma pessoa organizada. Tipo, a sua casa pode estar organizar e não limpa, mas as pessoas não irão ver muito a sujeira se as coisas estiverem nos lugares. O contrário é difícil de não ver. Então, quando eu termino com a parte que “o povo vai ver”, eu limpo o quarto dos meninos. Por último o nosso quarto e banheiro.
E se você parar para pensar em quanto você gasta pagando alguém para limpar sua casa você vai a loucura. No meu caso, minha faxineira vinha duas vezes por mês. Que eram $100 a menos no final do mês. Não estou dizendo que não era
válido. Honestamente, foi muuiiiittttoooo válido, mas infelizmente eu
não posso pagar mais. Mas se você fizer as contas: $ 100 x 12 meses = 1.200 a menos do seu bolso a cada ano. Sendo mais precisa $ 50 x 27 semanas = $1.350. BBBBOOOOOMMMMM.
Agora pense em como você poderia gastar esse dinheiro se você tivesse. Ou pense melhor, e se você colocar esse mesmo valor a cada ano para os seus filhos quando eles forem pra faculdade. Durante 10 anos eles teriam 13.500!!!!!! Bem, não é muito, mas é um começo.
Agora, a próxima vez que eu tiver a idéia de ter um faxineira novamente. Vou pensar sobre isso: pagar a faxineira ou economizar para a faculade dos meus filhos?
