This first two weeks of the New Year is being very exciting. So far I am loving all the news that this year is bringing.
First we receive a call from our friends from Brazil, who we haven’t seen for over eight years, saying they would visit us. Let me tell you a little bit about them. He was and still is my husband best friend. Friends that when young did everything together. Just so you know, when my husband (boyfriend back then) went to met my parents, his best friend went with him. Back then, I didn’t have much contact with his wife. And it was great to be with her, and discover how luck my husband’s best friend is to have found such a lovely wife. We spend three days with them, and we enjoy their company. Anyway, we absolutely loved to see him again and his wife. It was a short, but great time.
Another big surprise for this New Year was a new we received saying that our rent is going to be way too much. So chances are that we will probably be moving soon. And we both are very excited with the future new home. Now we are looking places to rent, so if is God’s plans we can move by the end of January. How’s that for a New Year, uh?
And the best of this beginning was that David turned one-year-old yesterday! But that deserves a special post, for our special boy. I’ll be posting tonight so you all can read and see our baby’s first birthday celebration.
Essas duas primeiras semanas deste Ano Novo estão sendo bem emocionantes. Até agora eu estou amando as novas que este ano está trazendo.
Primeiro recebemos um telefonema dos nossos amigos do Brasil, que não víamos por mais de oito anos, dizendo que iriam nos visitar. Deixe-me falar um pouquinho sobre eles. Ele foi e ainda é o melhor amigo do meu marido. Amigos que na época da juventude faziam tudo junto. Só pra você saber, quando meu marido (namorado na época) foi conhecer meus pais, o melhor amigo dele foi junto. Naquela época, eu não tinha muito contato com a esposa dele. E foi muito bom estar com ele, e descobrir como o melhor amigo do meu marido é felizardo em ter encontrado uma esposa tão amável. Nós passamos três dias juntos com eles, e nós desfrutamos a companhia deles. Enfim, nós amamos revê-lo novamente e sua esposa. Foi um tempo bem curto, mas foi ótimo.
Outra grande surpresa pra esse Novo Ano foi a notícia que recebemos dizendo que nosso aluguel iria aumentar bastante. Então há uma probabilidade de mudarmos logo. E nós dois estamos bem entusiasmados com a futura nova casa. Agora estamos procurando apartamentos para alugar, então se for dos planos de Deus nós deveremos mudar no final de Janeiro. Como imaginaríamos isso pra um Ano Novo, hein?
E o melhor deste inicio foi que o David completou um ano de vida ontem! Mas isso merece um post especial, para o nosso menininho especial. Eu estarei postando hoje a noite para que todos possam ler e ver a celebração de um aninho do nosso bebezinho.
